GATE 2021 –notification Exam Date ,Syllabus, Exam Pattern Friday 5th February 2021 Saturday 6th February 2021 Sunday 7th February 2021 Friday 12th February 2021 Saturday 13th February 2021 Sunday 14th February 2021 GATE – 2021 Mumbai, July 25, 2020: IIT Bombay being the organising institute, it is being informed that  considering the present Covid-19 pandemic situation, the dates for the GATE-2021  examination have been spread out over a longer duration as 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th and 14th February 2021. The organising team led by Profs. Deepankar Choudhury, Upendra  Bhandarkar and Mohd. GATE 2020 Exam Pattern

GATE Exam for 2020 will be conducted Online. You will have a mix of NAT (Numerical Answer Type) and MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). You will be asked 65 questions in a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes). There will be a Negative Marking of 1/3 rd for 1 mark questions. There will be a negative marking of 2/3rd for 2 mark questions. The GATE Exam will be a total of 100 marks. The Merit List will be made on the basis of the Cut Off & the Candidates qualifying it
